Suspension poem by Caroline Tiss

Suspension  It never was the sort of thing that caused the bough to break, As I bleed she watches me with her pure heart, Here I am, the weighted end of the scale of justice, Staring at my virtuous sun, Her gaze pities me, What good is pity if my river is red with blood from my heart, Sympathy will not save you, So it is not a virtue, Do not patronize me with your ivory, I do not regret a thing.

Am I Late? - poem by Caroline Tiss

Am I late? I enjoy you, I enjoy the waves which beckon me, I call them as they call to me, like you call to me. Late to the party too often lately, You tell me I have always been intoxicating, Perhaps consuming much like the swarming, It is a subtle fear, tears bellow. And you go on like the overture of a cello. I stop you to say, "we feel like lovers." I know that it's not really worth it to leap from anything deeper I have learned what I had to believe me, But we feel like lovers, And I know that it's selfish, I know I am headed straight for the pit, let them eat my bones to carry on the tune, You bright eyed alchemist, your magnificence echos to me in the chambers of memories of songs. We feel like Lovers. How can I hold back? What is pride if not my honor? The paint will fade anyway but give me a golden chance  I just know that I would break it.

Reverie by Caroline Tiss

Reverie by Caroline Tiss I used to look into your eyes And they would call my name Now I'm left lonely Singing in the rain A lonesome tune A melody Wandering on, in pain I used to wish you would come back to me Sail the sea of Saturn's rings Just to see my face But I won't call into the dark any longer I won't ring the chapel bell Just to see your grace I am at peace with your choice I have my happiness Though some days I am reminded of when you used to keep me warm by candlelight On an autumn day But I don't need you anymore Though I love you still I now sing beneath the Willow trees And I think I always will.

Dirt by Caroline Tiss

Dirt by Caroline Tiss One day I will become the dirt Melting into the earth And these days of running through the night Looking into each others eyes Kissing her beneath a gem studded sky Will be gone from me And lost in the ever changing wheel of time Laughing over fireflies in the summer heat Weeping in the hospital And smoking cigarettes in the fresh fallen snow No one will ever know.

July - Caroline Tiss 7/28/2022

July - Journal Entry By Caroline Tiss 7/28/2022 7/28/2022  If only we all knew how lucky we are to be alive, I have felt like I've only let the lips of death brush against mine not long ago. But if I have learned anything through all of my night terrors as a child, I know that you must know who you are. If you do not know you must find out. And you must know your reasons and evaluate who you are. Feel all your strength in your gut and simply believe. You do not have to fight anyone, for god sake. It is the only adivce I can really give. I feel so foolish quite honestly evern giving advice, because I feel like the pursuit of power is where the most mistakes are made. Power needs integrity. I so often feel caught between the grip of my tears that I might choke, But then I am restless. If anyone tries to tell me what that means I just might breakdown. Tenderness, is so rare today. - Entry written by Caroline Tiss  7/28/2022  ____________________________________________...

The Sun Journal Entry - Caroline Tiss 7/30/2022

The Sun - Caroline Tiss   A child, a lover, a girl. Seventeen yet so surreal. I want to rise with this day dawning. The morning arises with the cracking whip of dawn, like lightning, like the fading of summer into an autumn chill, announcing the presence of her magnificence, Look upon the sun, Ask him what's his name? How long has it been since he has faced the terror of his past. Woman at his side, walking on glass. Years pass, she's torn between her lover and all she wants and more. Can we simply stop? Let us find what makes us satisfied. We are only as balanced as we become, and even then anything can change. So Swiftly, you would hear everything Cry and Bleed. So please, Look at yourself and all of the mess that we've become. You are not lost. But all is at stake. So love it or leave it, Drink it or beat it, Hate me or call me a Heathen. I do not give a damn. But look at what you have created. Please don't deny it. Just observe, think please. Don't listen to any...

Journal Entry - Caroline Tiss - 7/14/2022

Caroline Tiss -  Entry - 7/14/2022   It’s so strange how nobody really knows, all in all it’s all just human nature. Aren’t we the same Romans and statues of Baroque. The New Gods are being born as we speak. We are the stairway to heaven, we are the tower of Babel. It’s all so beautiful and I can see it before it happens. It makes me feel like the blood in my veins is running hot with violet enchanted flames. Sometimes I feel like I could end the world singlehandedly, but then I remember the stories, and all the love letters between estranged lovers lost in the mail, lost at sea. And I remember what I live for. Somehow, someway I would love to be the archivist the librarian the bookkeeper, a scribe, a collector of manuscripts and all of the gems of poetry I have found on my journeys. I’d rather be a bit of a Pirate a bit of a vagabond Robin hood, with no real destination except all that I am. It brings me life, and it has been prophesied. The star seeds are now star bl...
